What is Cadac's Greengrill Ceramic?

As of 2017, Cadac introduced eco-friendly ceramic coated grill plates.

• No toxins: During its manufacturing and use, traditional PTFE coated surfaces release harmful toxins. Ceramic coated surfaces release none. Cadac's plates can be used and manufactured without ever releasing a single toxin, making it safe for everyone from the factory to the home.
• Conductivity: A ceramic plate conducts heat far more efficiently than its PTFE counterpart, meaning; no more than three minutes preheating, quicker cooking times and most importantly - less gas consumption.
• Easy clean: Warm soapy water and a soft cloth will do just fine. Or, just pop it in the dishwasher.
• Eco-friendly: Not only does ceramic use zero toxic substances, but the manufacturing process also uses much less energy, therefore, slashing the amount of CO2 produced in half.
